I'm sorry if this is the wrong place; I wasn't sure where to post....

I finally got my Macbook Pro. It's my first Mac. I'm clueless and dangerous.

What virus protection should I get? Recommendations, please! Thank you!

Macs don't have viruses. There is a little bit of malware out there, which is not the same thing, but can be annoying. Do please read the Sticky.

And if you must, follow the suggestion and download ClamXAV and avoid the commercial AV software. If you run Windows, download and keep up to date Microsoft Security Essentials which is also a free program.
