they say every product he made was cuz he was on LSD.....I don't believe it at all. and it bothers me that ppl would make such an an annoying and false comment.. i keep seeing it on youtube videos and gizmodo/engadget posts.
Do I think he was on LSD at the job? Nope. Do I think he did drugs, including LSD, during his life? Yep, he admitted as much.
Here's a hint for you...contrary to what Nancy Reagan, the governement and all the psycobabble in school is trying to tell you, doing
some drugs isn't going to turn you into a psychotic baby killer addict fiend any more than having a few beers a week is going to turn into a drunken, wife abusing, pedestrian killing alcoholic. The triggers for that behavior, be they tripped by drugs, alcohol, porn, sniffing glue or watching Oprah Winfrey, are already in your psyche. It's up to you to learn how to control them and learn to enjoy the lighter (and higher) side of life. As my father taught me: Everything in Moderation.
Steve did drugs, it was part of who he was. Doesn't mean he was an addict or that he was high on LSD every time Apple launched a new product. Frankly, he didn't design most, if any, of the products himself. Other very talented people did. Yes, probably all of them did some kind of drugs in their life, perhaps when they designed their products even. He just had the vision to make the greater and the skill to market them shrewdly. Whatever substances he may have taken, they were part of who he was and denying that they were is silly and only deludes yourself. Deal with it, he was human like the rest of us.
So don't be angry when people speak out of ignorance. Educate yourself, the history of Apple and Steve Jobs are public record. Look into them both and you'll find out why Steve was so revered and respected by both those who followed him and those who hate him. His early years are interesting and they involved drugs, it is what it is, he was who he was. All of that together with whatever fire burned inside the man is what helped bring Apple into this world, into our worlds, and made us all fans of them and him. Because of them, and him, each of us here has been changed in some way in our life, hopefully some way for the better. If nothing else, that can be his legacy.
