Hey Everyone, I am having an issue with my 13" Macbook Pro "Pausing" every once in a while. This is what is happening. While I am on, no matter if I am online or offline, every 15-20 seconds or so everything will pause for a second or two and then resume. Even if I am just scrolling through a web page or typing. When I am typing it is really annoying cause I have to sit there and wait for it to finish inputting what I typed which could take a few seconds.

Anyone got any ideas on why this is happening and how I can fix it? I am running on Lion if that helps.

Thanks,
Kevin

Welcome to the Mac Forums.

It sounds like something is running in the background taking up the CPU load and might be causing the delay. Open your Activity Monitor application (Applications, Utilities, Activity Monitor.app) and look to see what if anything is loading down the CPU or using an inordinate amount of system memory.
