How to start playing music when switch is flipped?

For my Halloween party this year, I want to be able flip a light switch that will send power to an outlet which will cause a the beginning of music track to start playing. How can I do this?

I am sure there are several solutions to your problem but we are going to need more info ( like what are you going to play this track on ) in order to really help. Is this an application that could be solved as easy as using a remote for whatever device you will be using ?
