I do a lot of traveling. I use windows 7 for gaming & to record hd tv shows that aren't available for purchase (Operation Repo, Pawnstars, Hardcore Pawn & more). I use osx for music, photos, blu ray movies. I use a ton of space so I hope I can to upgrade my macbook pro hard drive to 2 x 1tb 2.5 hard drives. To do this i will need to replace the dvd drive with a hdd caddy. I need to know if this hardware is compatible with my macbook pro.

The Samsung drive will fit since it's 9.5 MM thick. However, the Toshiba is questionable as they state it's 12.5 MM thick and may not fit. You would have to make sure of the Toshiba first before purchasing it.
