Reverting to old password for Apple ID

anyone know a way around reverting back to a previously used password for an apple ID before the standard one year policy that they advise you off on their web site appleid.apple.com//

any way to work around that?

Not sure what all that appleid.apple.com// means but i just changed my password yesterday. Sign in a couple of times with the *wrong* password and they will prompt you to change it via email or your secret question. Took all of 2 mins.

The problem wasn't in simply changing password. But the inability to change it back to one previously used for apple id within the last year.

Ahh ha. I don't think you can. Its to do with security i believe. No matter what i did it wouldn't let me change to the old one.....

As Tattooed states what you got - you got and no going back alas. Was in the same boat just would not accept the old password.
