Can I connect 2 Time Capsules to the same WIRED Network?

Hi Everyone,

Can I connect 2 Apple Time Capsules to the same network?

I want to use the second time capsule as a hard disk only, without wireless capability, connected to either the 1st time capsule or to a network switch via an Ethernet cable.

I have tried connected via Mac --> TC1 --> TC2

and

Mac --> TC1 --> Ethernet Switch --> TC2

but My mac does not see TC2.

Any help is appreciated - thanks in advance!

Have you setup that 2nd TC via Airport Utility since you got it?

You may need to connect your Mac to it via ethernet to at least get it set up.

Yes I've already done this. Both TC's work fine alone.
