Magic Mouse dying?

It moves up and down fine but it drags so slowly from sideways (left to right and back).

I've changed batteries and still having issues.

Im running 10.6.7

One thing with my 2 MM's I have noticed is from time to time, dust builds up in the hole for the optical sensor. I have blown it out and the mouse went back to moving around like new. Same Symptoms.
