iPad 2 black out the screen from time to time

My iPad 2 will black out the screen while I was using it for Internet browsing or writing email. Does anyone else have this problem? I just have to push the home button to get it back on, but it's still very annoying.

Mine goes blank also. I've had it about a month now. Have not determined anything that is causing it yet.

I would guess the same thing causes it on the 2 as causes it on the 1. The RAM is full. The only suggestions I have is to try actually quitting all those apps or restarting your iPad once in awhile.
