macbook pro os x version 10.6.7, mini hdmi.
Its all plugged in but still getting no signal.
When I plug it in, the screen turns blue, and it starts to load on the tv, but then it stop there. And it doesn't "gather windows" either.
is there anything I can do?

Have you set the input on your TV to "HDMI"?

what connector are you using? what MB model is it?

No Apple computers (as far as Im aware) use a mini-HDMI connector.

older models use mini DVI and newer ones use Mini Display Port.

What does that mean? Can you move the cursor across to the TV screen?

And it doesn't "gather windows" either.

what does that mean?

Have you opened System Preferences - Displays - and tried both changing the resolution for the TV - not your monitor - and also headed for the Appearance tab and tried both checking and unchecking the Mirror displays option?
