Newest version of Xcode has less features than older versions?

I just downloaded the newest version of Xcode last night from the Mac App store. I'm reading an Objective-C book that was published in 2009 and the screenshot of Xcode in the book has more options shown for what type of project to create than mine does. I'm trying to follow along in the book and it's telling me to open a certain project type that I'm unable to find.

Please let me know if I need to download something extra for these other options, or if they are just consolidated into another project type. Thanks.

If you're looking for a foundation tool, select "Command Line Tool" and on the following screen, set the "Type" to "Foundation."

So basically, the long list of options in the book photo are consolidated into fewer options but can be selected in some way in the available project types?

The presentation is different. When you choose the 'Command Line Tool' option, you'll notice a popup selection that presents those options from your second screen shot.

I don't know what may or may not be missing otherwise.

EDIT: I see while I was off reading other tabs, you got an answer. Yes things have changed.

Thanks for the help guys. I guess I'll just have to look around in each project to find something they might have me start in the book.
