Was considering an iBook for ages, but have ended up with a Powerbook. I went to Trafford Centre in Manchester and no-one had iBooks in stock. Only one place had one powerbook, and it was in the sale so got that.
Specs are:
15.2 inch
1.33GHz
9700 graphics
Airport and BT
60 GB hard drive
256 RAM (upgraded to 768MB)
combo drive
As this is the earlier Powerbook, the keyboard does not light up - although I am not bothered. Looking at the 15inch combo model on the UK site, the only difference is slightly faster processor, (1.5 ) slightly larger hard drive, (80GB) slightly more original memory (512Mb).
However, this one cost me almost £300 GBP less Will get Applecare later as I have to save for it LOL. Now selling my trusted eMac and keeping iMac and Mac Mini.
Credit card is bending with the wieght - although my husband is paying for this for my birthday and christmas combined.
There should be free counselling offered for Apple product fixation
