Hey guys, always come to this site with my questions!
Anyway, I played star craft 2 on max settings for about 3 hours today. My new imac did well, but got pretty hot. My question is this; can too much continuous gaming seriously damage it? If so, what's a good amount of time to play without ruining the computer?

Thanks,
spijadi

An iMac is a good gaming platform because they generally run much cooler than a MacBook Pro. Cool air is drawn in from the bottom vent just below the frame and warm air is blown out from the top vent. Nothing to worry about the iMac overheating. You probably need to cool off more than the iMac after playing Starcraft for 3 hours. :)

As long as your iMac is in a well ventilated area, and there's no dust clogging the vents, you should be fine gaming, even for extensive periods of time. :D

That's sort of like asking...

Can too much driving hurt my car?

Too much of anything is not good for you, so I'm going to say that goes for pretty much everything else.
