Can I program a kbd shortcut to play song in itunes?

For example, I want to be able to hit Cmd + Option + B to have itunes play "Brothersport" by Animal Collective. Is this possible???

Take a look at the Automator workflow I outlined in ATPM 13.11 - Creating iTunes Content Presets. I think it will get the job done though I have not used it in a while. You could eliminate steps three and four if you like and it should still work.

Select the song(s) to play in the first step. Save the workflow as an application and use the keyboard shortcuts section of the Keyboards preference pane to assign a keystroke to the app you created.
