Need help changing dock style from grid to stack

Not sure how I did this — but I need my downloads (in dock) to be in the stack style, not grid. Anyone help with this? I'm not sure how it became a grid.

Just right click on the icon in the dock then under the "view content" heading select fan. :)
I presume this is the layout you want.
