I have been using an LCD monitor as a second screen for my 13" MacBook2 (via mini-DVI out to VGA adapter.) It has worked for at least a year, but a few days ago the screen stopped displaying the image even though the computer recognized the other display profile as present and stayed in that mode.
The problem is not the screen. I also use the screen as the display for my Wii, and still works fine.
Now, when I plug in the cable for the screen to the Macbook the Colorsync Utility app comes up with the profile repair ready.
I clicked verify-
Searching for profiles...
Checking 52 profiles...
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Profiles/Recommended/CoatedFOGRA27.icc
Tag 'desc': Tag size is not correct.
Verify done - found 1 bad profile.
And then when I click 'repair'-

It seems like I need to replace or change a file in this location. Or change a setting..
Any suggestions?
oh yeah, it's a Samsung SyncMaster931b
