applications not working

I tried to find the latest information on "Desktop Manager" but it looks like it's been some time since it was updated. I suspect it's not compatible with Snow Leopard which is why it won't open. It does say it's for OS X 10.3 or later, but that doesn't really tell us much.

If the application won't run because it's too old, upgrading to more modern software will only make the problem worse.
If the software you're looking at is the same one I am (a virtual desktop manager), you'll be happy to know that OS X comes with virtual desktop support. It's called Spaces and can be configured through System Preferences (the preference panel you're looking for is called Expose and Spaces).
