1. whats the difference between the macbook air, macbook pro and imac.

- MacBook Air...laptop, smaller, thinner, lighter
- MacBook Pro...laptop, usually higher performance specs...more display size choices
- iMac...desktop computer

2. is there anywhere i can get one cheaper, (eg refurbished etc).

e-Bay and Craig's List

3. is there anything ican do i cant on a normal laptop ?

Isn't a Macintosh laptop a "normal" laptop?

4. what apps can i get? i know theres some for macs what are they ?

Come on. Apps for the Mac are like words in the dictionary...TOO many to list.

5.whats the best thing about them lol?

Everybody's reasons are different.

see i wouldnt want to buy one off ebay or anything, i meant a refurbished one through apple etc but they seem hardly any cheaper, i fancy the macbook pro but £1000 is a lot of money for a laptop.

You gotta do...what you gotta do!;)

If a new or refurbished Macintosh laptop is outside your budget (or you don't consider it a good value)...and you don't want to purchase a less expensive used Mac laptop off e-Bay...then you'll have to continue using a Windows laptop.
