Hello-

I have a 2007 aluminum iMac 2.0 GHZ core 2 duo with 1GB of RAM standard. I want to install more, but I have seen sources that say this iMac will only support 2GB of RAM. Other sources say it can support 4GB. Can anyone advise definitively how much RAM I can use? Thanks

Apple officially says 4gig...but it can actually be upgraded to 6 gig (4 gig + 2 gig).

I have a 2.4Ghz mid 2007 iMac, and Nick is right. I went with the 4GB as I am a fan of matched pairs for dual Channel and it works great. You can go up to 6 though. OWC has the kits.
