Not sure if this is the right apot for this question or not. If it's in the worng area, I apologize....

I have an iPhone 4 running 4.3.1 and am trying to sync it with iTunes 10.4.1.10 under Windows Vista. Whenever I try to sync, iTunes recognizes the iPhone, it starts to backup and then just stays that way. (I let it run 10 hours and it never moved.) When I canceled the sync, iTunes was not responding and I had to manually close it down.

I had the same problem with 2 different iPhones...a 3gs and a 4.

I deleted iTunes and reinstalled it and still had the same problem.

Any suggestions will be appreciated!

So, it's consistent between phones and consistent between different installs of iTunes. So, you've just about isolated it to that PC. Do you have access to another machine that you could port your iTunes library over to?

Did you do a hard reset of the iPhone? I had a similar issue once before and it took a reset of the iPhone to alleviate the issue.
