Recently, my macbook power supply LED light (green / orange) went, but it still provided power to the mac. Last night I used the mac with no p.supply, I used the battery up, and the reserve power notification came up. I switched it off. This morning, the mac wont come on! (battery or p.supply)

Current thinking:

a) p.supply fuse has gone
b) need new p.supply
c) macbook is faulty?????? hope not!

Can anybody help / suggest something? I will borrow a friends power supply to check in the meantime.

Cheers

PS.. and yes, I have switched the mains on..

I would borrow your friends power supply first, if its the power supply then check the fuse

Tested the mac with a friends p.supply, it works!! Phew! But.... i tried my power supply on his macbook pro, it worked! Confusing!!! Also, I didn't turn the mac off last night after all, so the battery was totally flat! But can't see no reason why the p.supplies react differently! Weird!

The light on my power supply doesn't work, could this be a sign that there's a fault?
