Hey,

Just tried to create a partition to install Windows 7 on, yet half way during the boot camp partitioning the drive my computer crashed and was forced to restart. Now my computer is missing the specific space I allocated for this partition and the partition isn't showing up in Disk Utility. I can't even use the Boot Camp wizard to get rid of it. It's as if the partitioned has been created and used the 100GB I specified however it didn't finish making the partition and thus I don't have access to it.

Am I going have to totally reformat the drive and reinstall Mac OSX on the computer, or is there a way around this little hiccup?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Reset your PRAM and go back into Disk Utility to see if the partition shows up. If it does, remove it. Also, run a verify and repair on your hard drive before attempting to install Windows again. Something had to cause your machine to crash. It might well be the hard drive.
