I've been having my i'mac G5 for about 8 months the past week the screen when loading the computer gets glitches, where the screen becomes where pixelated. When the computer finishes loading I have parts of the screen with boxes of pixelated stuff are there but I can take a folder on the desktop and drag it around the screen and the stuff goes away, but when i load a program for example i photo it seems like it freezes and the glitches come again. if anyone can let me know of something please let me know.

Thanks

Sounds pretty much like the known logic board problem of the Rev. A iMac G5.

Check this:

You probably need to bring it to the closest Apple service center, and they will exchange your logic board. It's covered by the warranty, so nothing to pay.
