2011 13.3 Macbook Pro, 2.3ghz i5, 4g DDR3, 320gb hdd, iPhone 4s 32gb White, iPad 2 16gb Wifi White
My friend is selling a 3rd gen time capsule 1tb for 150 bucks and i need something to backupp my mbp to. Should i buy that which will be cpvered under the apple care until my macbook is or go for something else.

Well do you think a firewire external would be more of a benefit?

Yes its the fastest way currently to backup until Thunderport drives are available and it leaves your USB ports open for other uses.
