And when I synched it put all my phone contacts in my address book for my e-mails which I don't think is of any use. So can i get rid of them? I have a mac mini and an iPad so not totally dumb about Apple but not very good with any of them. I'm sure I will have more ?'s as I use it, love the iPad, mainly use it for a reader as it is just a WiFi. Thats putting my phone #'s on my mac mini so when I go to address on an email all my phone contacts are there.

Your Mac's Specs
Macbook Pro, 4GB RAM, 250GB HD
Your best bet is going into you Address Book on you Mac and creating different groups of contacts, then through iTunes you can select which groups to sync with any given device.

Hope this helps.
Post back if you want more of an explanation

My phone # names are not in my address book just when I use address when I click as I write an email. When I click on a phone name then nothing happens, no card or anything. I will try to delete them but I'm sure when ever I sync my phone it will happen again.

On edit they are in my address book too! Guess its not that big a deal as I have another place to see my phone #'s.
