I have an iPod Mini that I use on my MacBook Pro (Snow Leopard). For some reason it says I have a bunch of data on there in iTunes, but when I open the iPod as a hard drive, I can't see the data to delete it. When I look at the folders, there's only a few MB total, but iTunes says I have about 5GB of stuff on there.

How can I access/view this 5GB of non-musical data to delete it, without purging my iPod completely? Directions on Mac would be great. :D

Open Terminal and copy/paste this. Hit enter after each.

Code:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles 1
Code:
killall Finder

CAREFUL of what you delete, or you may well have a paperweight afterwards!

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles 0
Code:
killall Finder
