So I want to hook up my MBP to an external PC monitor, I have done some research and I have discovered that the new MBP (2010) don't have the DVI ports on them, so what do I use to connect to an external monitor?

Also what are some good monitor brands/ what should I look for in a monitor?

Thanks!

The 2010 MacBook Pro's use MiniDisplay Port to connect to external monitors. You will need a MiniDisplay Port to VGA/DVI/HDMI connector depending on what input's the external monitor you buy has.

All these are available on the Apple store.

Great thanks!

Any ideas on good monitors? I know LG is a dominant brand but ate there any other good brands? My max price for a monitor is $250
