Dear all,

I have my new MacBook Pro already for 2 months and encounter some graphical issues when it is idle for long period of time. The screen gets white with color pixels and there is no way to bring it back but with a Hard power reset.

Already contacted Mac support and advised to reset the PRAM and NVRAM but did not resolve the problem.

What I'm looking for is where to get a diagnostic log from the OS Snow Leopard 10.6.8
Or any other advise will be appreciated.

Thanks and regards,

Don't fool with it any longer. Make an appointment with Apple and bring it on in for them to diagnose. The machine is new and should not be having that problem. It's under warranty which means they will either repair or replace the machine for free.
