I run Parallels on my iMac at home and last night I went to the PC side
and tried to upload files to an FTP site. It said I didn't have access
to the internet, but the Mac side does.

Tried to run diagnostics, it said I did not have an IP address assigned,
but in the control panel it said what the IP address is.

I tried a restart and re started Windows and the same.

What was the IP address you saw? Did it start with 169.x.x.x?
