Photoshop CS2 tryout woes

OK, I downloaded the mammoth 308MB 30 day tryout of CS2 last night. When I install the .mpkg file, it says "the software could not be installed, try again".
However, the folder with PS in it appeared in my applications folder. I opened it and I got these two error messages:

I would try re-downloading the mammoth file from Adobe, it appears what you downloaded is junked. I'm on day 16 of my 30 day trial and, quite honestly, haven't found or seen anything with CS2 to warrant me paying the upgrade fee yet. Maybe I'll just wait for CS3 or whatever.
