Hello,

I was advised to partition my hard drive on my new Macbook Pro so I divided it in half. However, I now want to restore it to just one single drive.

Does anyone know how I do this?

Many thanks in advance.

You can do it in Disk Utility, but bear in mind you will lose all data you have strored on the partitions, because you are basically going to have to do a clean install of the OS to get it back to one. If that's acceptable reply and we can guide you through.

Only one way to do that properly ( without any issues later on ) and that is
Backup your files
Repartition the disk as a single partition
Format the partition
Install the OS
Restore your files from backup.

Forgot about iPartition (having previoussly sung it's praises - doh!)
Not simple to use for this, but possible.

Great, if you could give me a basic idea of how to do that I'd be very grateful.

Thanks,
