Hi all,
Currently I like to run a fairly minimal dock, just firefox, adium, and itunes (the three apps I use daily), everything else gets launched via spotlight.
I had an idea a while ago, which was to remove all applications from the dock, launch everything via spotlight, and as such have it so that the items appearing in the dock are only ones that are currently running. This worked ok, but made the indicator lights kind of pointless. Now that you can turn the indicator lights off, this is again on my mind as an option.
Has anyone tried such an approach? If so, how did you find it?
