Does anyone make a device that is wired, (something with an ethernet connector), that supports Airplay? It would have an ethernet connector and then an analog audio out and be able to stream music from any computer's iTunes on my LAN.

I guess part two of this question is, can I turn off the wireless feature on an Airport Express and use it this way?

If you simply plug your computer and whatever end device you desire into your Airport (Say an ATV) then yes, it should work over Ethernet just fine. I halfway do this as both of my ATV 2 devices are on ethernet but my iMac is on wireless all via my Airport Extreme. Plugging your computer into the Airport and then hooking up speakers to your Airport via the audio out jack should work fine too.
