I messed up... help me!

Crud that was freakin' dumb.

I tried to customize the look of my desktop, making a blue background with circular indentations where files were. This didn't look good, so I stopped.

Then I forgot to put the HD icon back. I also quit Appleworks without saving.

Is there a way to get a Macintosh HD icon I can paste to make my icon?

Where did you put the icon? I didn't know you could delete it. I know if you customize you usually only copy an icon over the old one, then if you want the old one back you just click on the icon and in INFO hit delete to revert back. I am lost as to what you actually did with the icon though.
