Need Help..Macbook pro wont start

I have a 2007 macbook pro..When i press the power button..The white light comes on..but nothing eles..no video..no audio..and i do not have the recovery cds .. ANY..advice would be great! Thanks!

If you don't hear a startup chime or any beeps time for a visit to the Apple store.

ok..its out of warranty and im not the original owner..will they charge me??

Not for a diagnosis that I am aware of repair yes but they do stand behind their repairs.

Not sure about that... I believe Apple stores have a minimum charge for diagnosis, however, it's up to them whether or not to impose it. No one works for free nowadays.
