iWorks 2011?? Time Frame??

Has anyone heard anything about a new version of iWorks coming out anytime soon? I have been think about buying iWorks 09' to try out but I don't want to buy it just to have a 2011 version come out a month or two later.

No one has heard anything. It's been sup-positioned that it there would be one this year, but who knows. I'm sticking with Libre office right now thinking that they may have a new version come out along with iCloud and iOS 5.

Yeah from what I have read about the internet the rumor seems to be that maybe in October they might release some info. i was just seeing if anyone here had heard anything. Thanks!

Don't hold your breath on that one. My opinion is that iWork is a thing of the past. Apple has already updated Pages, Keynote, and Numbers to a new version for Lion.

I would expect that you will only be able to purchase the iWork applications separately from the App store. When you think about that, it's really better since each application can be purchased for $19.99 and installed on as many Macs as you own.
