Question about updating my iPhone 3GS

So I have an unlocked iPhone 3GS on firmware 4.1 with an iPad baseband of 06.15.00. Will I lose my carrier unlock if I update it to 4.3.5??

If you are going to update the firmware, you will lose your carrier unlock.
