Root Password/File Access Question!?! Help!

How do I access all of my files after resetting root password in SUM?? I can login to my imac now as an administrator, but the folders I want are denied, it says I don't have privileges to those files??

Try using sudo before each command. It's safer. If you need to ask the question (about root) you probably shouldn't be logging in as root.

Example:
$ cd /etc
$ more kcpassword
kcpassword: Permission denied
$ sudo more kcpassword
Password:
(Now it shows you the contents)
