I have searched, browsed and read reviews on iMac's like a mad man, to get as much information as possible before I decide which iMac I should choose.

I narrowed it down to the 27-inch: 2.7GHz i5 with 1T drive and 4G RAM ...I plan on buying 16G of Kingston KTA-MB1333/4G to add on arrival (any comments on this brand ??)

This will be plenty of "Mac" for me ...BUT !!

Now I'm in doubt about the graphics on this puppy, will the AMD Radeon HD 6770M graphics processor with 512MB of GDDR5 memory be good enough ??

I don't play games ..well, I do but it's games like Angry birds or other small games, I use Photoshop now and then on a amateur level.

How "bad" is this graphic compared to the 6970M with 1 GB RAM ??

I have read a lot of info on this question, but couldn't find a answer that could help me out ..I hope you guys could :)

Angry Birds with 512MB of VRAM is equivalent to using a 400hp truck to bring the garbage to the end of the driveway on garbage day. In other words, you should be fine. As for Photoshop, I leave that to the experts around here but I do see that PS CS5 requires (here) 256MB VRAM so, at a minimum, you should be able to run it comfortably.

I'm pretty sure they were just having fun coming up with humorous comparisons - nothing they said was aimed at you.

Yeah I gotta laugh too. Mate... just enjoy the show. I regularly work on half a dozen documents and have a least two safari windows open at the same time whilst watching TV Catch UP and having load of apps open like iCal, Mail etc., using expose/ and widgets with Time Machine running in the background. You won't get bored enough for Angry Birds!

I have an old Intel iMac and I can't throw enough at it to slow it down. You'll be fine for another 10 years.

With the size of your screen if your looking to run graphic intense games I'd opt for the 1gb model especially if your planning to run at native resolution =)
