When googling using Safari, I used to click on "More" on the sidebar at the left, and "Discussions" and "Patents" were listed among the search tools. These disappeared in the last day or so, but they are still there if I use Firefox.

Anyone know what happened?

Thanks for any information.

I still have them as well in Safari. Google often changes things and tests different result pages for certain search terms and user groups, often based on browser cookies, so it may just be that?

The "Sort by Date" option is also gone.

Should I delete all cookies in Safari from google.com?

Anything bad that can happen?

What else to try if that doesn't fix it?

Moved to correct forum. Not a subject for the "Lounge".
