Using USB HDD

I have purchased new AIR Macbook. I am using a USB HDD with the system. The HDD has two folders. How do I copy from one folder of this USB HDD to the Second folder of this USB HDD. I am getting the option of copy when I right click on the file to copy but in the destination folder I am not getting paste option. Please help.:)

Open two Finder windows and drag and drop the files between them.
