I have data in Apple Mail To Do on my iPhone. My email provider is charging me for space the data takes. Is there a way to create a file separate from Mail on the iPhone to transfer the data to?

If your email provider charges you for a few measly megabytes of data in this day and age, you might want to look into switching.

With Gmail you can even basically keep your old address by setting up forwarding and "reply as", so existing contacts can still use your old address to reach you under your new address.
