I'm having a lot of difficulty connecting my new MacBook Pro to my wireless Canon MG6120 Pixma printer. I'm using a net gear router and I downloaded the disk provided with the printer, but all it wants to do is scan and not print. I tried the Help option provided by mac and still nothing. How do I connect my printer and am I missing something?

Try connecting it directly via USB for initial setup then disconnect and setup wireless.

That ought to do the trick. I have had the same issue with two different Canon printers.

if you have your wireless network's SSID hidden when you run the setup try unhiding it. It seems to make things easier. You can hide it again if you like when the process is complete.
