Hey guys,

Just installed Lion, and now my sound card doesn't work.

I can see the icon in system preferences, and when i click it asks to 'quit and reopen' which i do, but then a message comes up with 'the device could not be found' message.

I see nothing in my sound settings, i even re-installed the driver but still no luck.

I also noticed my internet is not as smooth and keeps cutting out randomly, possible problem?

I'm "assuming" this must be some 3rd party sound card since you mention re-installing the driver. I'd suggest you check the manufacturer's site for whatever card it is.

A new driver was needed from the manufacturers which supports lion, so problem solved. Internet still bugs out though.
