I was running onyx/repair permissions on my macbook pro. This somehow put an icon on my desk top that I can not get rid off. It is titled "ds.store". I have tried to drag it to trash and empty, but will not let me. Does anyone know what this is, and how I can get rid of it? Many thanks.

Way... way too many specs to list.
Turn off show hidden items in Onyx. The ds.store items are metadata files about each folder on your system. They're completely normal, and really should be there.

I did as you said and it is now hidden. Thanks much.
