video converter suggestions ???

i am currently looking for a good video conversion application from the app store. normally i would buy one however i am worried about buying one and then not being able to get a refund if it fails. i need it to convert multiple videos of multiple formats into one format-for my mobile phone.

ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!!!!!!!
