Cannot find a way to get rid of it. There are no "Toolbar" files or folders in my Applications. What can I do to evict this nuisance that has been haunting me for 3 weeks? Why can't Apple find a cure and update for it?
I can't locate it just at the moment, but there is a previous thread on this EXACT problem (bottom line, you downloaded something you shouldn't have, but NO it's not a virus -- it's actually Safari's way of telling you that potential adware keeps TRYING to get in there!) and it's solution.
Do a search for "community toolbar" and you're bound to find the exact post I'm talking about.
Thanks so much for that. I found it and trasher the folder with 2 itms in it. I hope it stays away. I took a snapshot and left on my desktop just in case it sneaks back in. There should be a law against unwanted invasions like that.
Thanks again, you're awesome.
