Hi everyone just going through the process of changing a battery on a MacBook core duo. I've seen a few that I can purchase cheaper than the $149 just want to make sure I'm looking at the right model number to suit my MacBook. My friend that gave me the machine already bought a new battery however it was an imitation one and now doesn't charge or hold a charge. Any help would be appreciated. I have had an apple technician look at the machine and he said the machine, other than the battery, works fine. Thanks in advance.
