I like the simplicity of the stock iphone alarm, and I dont like having another app open for an alarm. But is there anyway to use one of my own songs for the alarm sound or just whatever is in there? I would appreciate any help, thanks!

I think it might work if you turn some of your songs into ringtones. You'll be able to choose the songs as one of the alarm options that way. The problem is that it will take up too much space to have your whole music collection to choose from so you'll have to only pick your favorite songs.

iHome makes a free app called iHome+Sleep. It's designed to work with their clock radio docking stations, but I think it also has a built in alarm clock feature that lets you wake to music.
