iScroll 2, its for pre scrolling trackpad notebooks, I've been using it for the last almost 2 years and just learned the you can use it to right click without the ctrl key, a godsend for notebook users.

iScroll is one of those good apps to have if you bought a powerbook for ibook before they came out with a scrolling trackpad.

Just place two fingers on the trackpad and press the button.

i found a similar program that works with newer PowerBooks, but it's not freeware. Besides iScroll, does anyone else know of a program that allows for right clicking using a trackpad?

If anyone is interested, I just relaunched a website that specializes in recommended freeware for OS X. I see lots of forum threads and blog posts like these, so I decided to try putting it all together in one site. But after reading through this thread, I realize there's still plenty of great apps to be added. Anyhoo, the link is in my sig. Happy hunting!

Ha, great idea! Interesting foot/toe avatar btw.

Oh yea, I know it's not freeware but SuperDuper! (it's a backup utility) should be up there. For 27bucks, give or take, it's a great program.
